Become a master at UMBRA

You register under your real first name — this is part of our vetting and of holding masters accountable. In place of your surname you choose any free pseudonym or reading name. Your legal surname, full document name, exact address and other identifying details are never shown to clients and must never be disclosed inside a reading, a voice message, a file or the chat.

So that a client cannot locate or contact you outside Umbra. This is not a formality — it is the mechanism that lets the platform protect both sides. Inside Umbra every order is held in escrow, every deadline is tracked, and every payment and refund is guaranteed. The moment a client can reach you privately, none of that protection exists, for them or for you. Keeping your surname and personal contacts private is therefore a standing obligation for as long as you work with us.

No. You may not share, hint at, or ask for any off-platform contact of any kind: social-media handles, phone numbers, personal email, messengers, payment details, personal websites, QR codes, or any link that leads off Umbra. This applies in the written reading, the voice message, the chat, any uploaded file, and your profile. Disguised or encoded contacts — spelled-out handles, an image of a card, “just search my name” — count as violations exactly the same.

Exclusively inside the UMBRA app: the order chat and the delivered reading. Every clarifying question, follow-up and any dispute is handled there. This keeps a single, reviewable record that lets Umbra stand behind the order and resolve any disagreement fairly for both sides.

You must decline and stop the attempt. If a client asks for your contacts, offers to pay you directly, or proposes to continue the work elsewhere, refuse politely, explain that everything stays inside Umbra for their own protection, and — if it continues — report it to support. Going along with such a request, even when the client started it, is itself a violation on your side.

All payments and refunds run solely through the Apple App Store and Google Play, under their rules, with Umbra acting as the guarantor of the transaction. You never take direct payment from a client by any means. Taking payment directly breaks that guarantee, strips the client of their refund rights, and is grounds for immediate removal.

Deliver personally and on time, at the depth the service promises. Keep the client’s birth data, photos and dreams strictly confidential and use them only for that order. Never resell, republish or reuse a client’s materials. Treat every client with respect, whatever their request, and promise no guaranteed outcomes.

Any attempt to move contact off-platform, reveal identifying details, take outside payment, or otherwise bypass Umbra leads to immediate and permanent suspension of the master account and forfeiture of pending payouts for the orders concerned; where a client is harmed, further steps follow. We monitor for this actively, and deliberate circumvention receives no warning.
